By raising dopamine and norepinephrine levels in the brain, amphetamine and dextroamphetamine—two central nervous system stimulants—combine to produce Adderall, which helps with focus and reduces impulsivity. The Adderall medication was given FDA approval in 1996.
Both Adderall IR and Adderall XR cannot be absorbed into the body with foods high in citric acid and ascorbic acid (vitamin C). Avoid sodas, food with high preservative content, and vitamin C-rich fruit juices for an hour before and after taking Adderall.
Oxycodone is used to relieve pain severe enough to require opioid treatment and when other pain medicines did not work well enough or cannot be tolerated.
When other painkillers did not work well enough or could not be tolerated, oxycodone is used to treat pain that is severe enough to warrant opioid treatment.
